Botox®

What is BOTOX®?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a natural, purified protein that relaxes muscles by blocking nerve impulses. BOTOX® Cosmetic is approved for the temporary treatment of moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people ages 18–65.

How is it administered?
A few tiny injections administered by our oculoplastic specialist will begin the process of relaxing the muscles that cause skin to crease. The skin will become smoother after the muscles are at rest and the result will be a more natural and relaxed appearance.

What are the results?
In clinical studies of BOTOX® the majority of people ( 82.5%) reported an improvement in the lines between their brows after one week. After 30 days, 89% of people rated the improvement in frown lines as moderate or better.

How long do the results last?
Results can last up to 4 months.
